Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us through the quote request form:

• Your name, email address and, if you provide it, phone number.
• Details about your home and the service you're interested in: type of home, bedrooms, bathrooms, approximate size, ZIP code, preferred frequency, date and time of day.
• Anything you write in the notes field.

We do not ask for payment information, government identifiers or passwords, and we ask that you don't include them in your notes.

Information collected automatically

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not build profiles of visitors.

Like most websites, the servers that host it may record basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in routine logs used to keep the site secure and working. Your IP address is also used briefly to limit repeated form submissions and prevent spam.

Photographs on this site are loaded from Unsplash's image service, which receives standard technical information from your browser (such as your IP address) when it delivers an image.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to:

• Review and respond to your quote request.
• Contact you about the request by email or, if you provided a number, by phone.
• Prepare a quote and, if you choose to go ahead, arrange the service.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your permission.

How information is shared

Quote requests are delivered to our inbox by an email delivery provider (currently Resend), which processes the message on our behalf in order to deliver it. Our email service then stores it like any other email.

We also keep a copy of each request in our own customer records, a database hosted for us by our website provider (currently Vercel, with storage by Neon), so we can follow up and keep track of your request. Only we can view these records.

To help us reply quickly, an AI service (currently Grok, from xAI) prepares a first draft of our reply from the details in your request. We read and check every reply before it is sent. xAI processes those details on our behalf and, under its own policy, keeps them for up to 30 days.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our business, our clients or others. We do not otherwise share your information with third parties.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for as long as needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, to provide the service, and for any period required for legal, tax or accounting purposes. Requests that don't lead to service are deleted after [RETENTION PERIOD].

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [BUSINESS EMAIL]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law. We will respond to requests as the law requires.

Security

The quote form is submitted over an encrypted connection, and access to the information is limited to the people who need it to respond. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you share.

Children

This website is intended for adults arranging services for their homes. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and its effective date. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
